Week 10
The beginning of this week was stressful because I had to
understand ROI and install the conversion tracking code on my website. Learning
about formulas and calculations to get the real investment made in each ad as
well as its benefit is not as hard as the process to connect my website to
Google ads by using Google Tag Manager. The instructions were general, and I
had to watch many YouTube videos with explanations of how to link that in
WordPress that is the website builder I´m using. I was able to connect all the
needed tools with the help of the tutorials and google chrome extensions to
check if there were tags on my website. In addition, we had a briefcase
analysis of keywords, ads, and their importance in term of numbers like clicks,
impressions, CPC, etc. That activity helped to understand the importance of
those kinds of analysis and how choosing keywords can damage or benefit our
campaign. Based on these activities I will re-think my strategy.
